This project experiments with a process of giving visual form to OtherWorld. A study in co-creation, the project is an exploration into using AI as a collaborative partner as well. Using Runway GEN-1’s Video to Video AI generative system, I trained the generator with my own video stills and 3D renderings to create a wholly new vision of OtherWorld.

I am captivated by the poetic, magical possibilities of working in this co-creative human-machine collaborative space. I’m mesmerized by the way the work I make can be re-translated back to me in a way that feels so true to the spiritual, ephemeral way I experience the world. I am also horrified by the brutal weaponization of this technology, along with the staggering environmental costs.

This project marks the beginning of my research into reimagining artificial intelligence as a co-creator in my practice.
